The major in mathematics can include a wide range of courses geared to your interests. Our Actuarial Science major includes courses in the Zicklin School of Business along with a strong mathematics curriculum. We encourage you to consider these majors and to visit and talk with our mathematics advisors, or any member of our department concerning these majors.
The Master of Science Program will provide the students with the mathematical background re-quired for modeling and solving problems that arise in the financial services industry. The program combines a rigorous treatment of the underlying mathematical concepts with a strong emphasis on computational techniques and their practical application in finance."
